About
A lot of women reach a point where it feels like the effort stops paying off — energy dips, recovery takes longer, sleep's all over the place, and it's hard to know how hard to push anymore. It's easy to read that as going backwards. Usually, it's just your body asking for a different approach.
This workshop is about understanding what's actually going on, so you can work with your body rather than against it. MJ joins us at USC to talk honestly about training through different life stages — hormones, perimenopause and menopause, energy and recovery — and the realistic adjustments that keep you moving and enjoying it.
We'll get into:
Why adjusting your training through busy or high-stress stretches is smart, not a step back
Hormones, perimenopause and menopause, and how they shape energy and recovery
The “too tired to train” trap, and what genuinely helps
The basics that come first — fuelling, sleep and managing life stress — before any quick fix
Less about pushing harder, more about understanding yourself — because when you understand your body, you make better decisions, train with more confidence, and feel more in control.
