  • What is the difference between each class type?
    Each class will prioritise a different training stimulus: Strength: Focuses on building strength and muscle through resistance training. Expect a slower paced class, with an emphasis on technique & progression. Conditioning: Emphasises cardiovascular fitness and endurance. Utilising all of our available equipment, like ski ergs, rowers and assault bikes, to make sure each session can be tailored to your fitness level. Strength & Conditioning: Incorporates both elements into the same class. You'll complete 1-2 strength blocks first, then a team conditioning block. Boxing: A boxing based conditioning class, designed for all levels of experience, working to improve your cardiovascular health with a unique training style. Outdoor Pilates: floor-based pilates conducted in our unique outdoor gym environment. Blending core strength and flexibility to give you the perfect addition to your strength & conditioning. Youth S&C: strength & conditioning sessions tailored specifically for youth of high school ages, promoting confidence & physical development in the gym.
  • I've never done this style of training before, is that okay?
    Absolutely! At USC, we have a diverse community with members from all different training backgrounds, experiences, and ages. Our mission is to make group training feel personalised, so everyone, no matter their experience, can feel comfortable and supported. To help you get started, we offer all new members a complimentary consultation. This is a great opportunity if you feel you’d like some guidance before joining our classes. You can easily book it directly through our app, or feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions!
  • What are the USC values?
    At USC we have 2 core values that underpin everything we do as a business: Positive Experience: We're all about creating a space where you’ll actually look forward to coming, feel involved, and have fun with your training. Our goal is to make every workout enjoyable, motivating, and full of good vibes! Purposeful Training: Each session at USC is carefully crafted to provide purposeful, result-driven training. If you’re committing your time and effort, we want to make sure every workout helps you progress towards your personal goals and delivers the results you're after!
  • Can I just turn up for a class?
    If you've signed up for our free trial, before attending your first class make sure you have: Booked in for your class, and Completed the pre-training questionnaire These will have been sent in an email to you, but if you've missed it just send us a message and we'll help you out! Once you've done that, just show up 5-10mins early for your session so we can quickly catch you before class starts to welcome you!
  • What is the difference between the USC Booking app and the USC Training app?
    You may have seen we have two different 'USC' apps on the app store, these apps serve different functions for our members: USC Booking: For all things related to your memberships, bookings, community events & announcements. USC Training: Solely for the purpose of being able to track & record your training at USC. This may also include your rehab if applicable.
  • What do I do if I experience any niggles, pains or injuries?
    If you experience any niggles, pains, or injuries, we’ve got you covered! At USC, we truly care about your well-being, which is why we offer in-house rehab services. We understand how challenging it can be to juggle rehab and training, so our rehab team works seamlessly with our training programs to help you keep training safely and for longer.
  • What are the different membership types?

  • Can I pause my membership?
    Yes, you can pause your membership! We understand that life can get in the way, so we offer the flexibility to pause your membership when needed. We just ask for 7 days' notice for any pause requests, and please note that each membership type has different pause lengths available.
  • How do I cancel my membership?
    To cancel your membership, simply reach out to us directly. Most memberships require a 2-week notice period, but we’ll guide you through the process and make sure everything is taken care of.
