USC Games Frequently Asked Questions

How many people per team?

Each team can be made up of 2-3 people. 

What if I don't have anyone to team up with?

Please let us know and we will find you a team! We'd love to see as many of you there as possible, so just reach out.

Will there be running involved?

This year's events include no running at all! 

Can I do it if I’m managing an injury?

We want to make this event is inclusive as possible, so if you do have an injury or a concern please let us know and we'll help guide your decision on participating or not. The only events that may be of concern are the bench press and goblet squat, however these are individual events and only need to be performed by 1 team member.

What if I'm not good at the events?

Although there will be points & scoring involved, we are huge on making this event fun. All we want to promote is our positive USC community spirit and for everyone to be putting in their best effort, so don't be intimidated. 

What are the events involved?

We will have 6 events - 4 known and 2 unknown. Of the 4 individual events, there will be 3 individual events (only 1 team member will complete them) and 1 team event. The 2 unknown events will both be team events. Known events:

          1. Bench Press 60sec AMRAP

          2. Goblet Squat for Max Weight

          3. Sit and Reach

Do I have to be a USC member to compete?

No! We want everyone to get involved in the action. USC members will get a discounted ticket, but non-USC members who participate in the games will also receive a special membership offer!

Is there a prize for the winners?

Yes! This year we've got cash prizes for the winners, plus plenty of other awards, prizes and vouchers to give away!

What are team-coordinated outfits?

The dress-code requires your teammates to coordinate some unity within your outfits - whether you all wear the same colour, dress up or just have one item to match. There will be extra points for the extent each team goes to.
